How the Wellbeing Care Community System Supports Poverty Alleviation Efforts

One of the key focus areas for helping people and communities reach their full potential is helping people out of poverty into prosperity. The eTransX Wellbeing Care Community poverty alleviation initiatives has built in modules, assessments, and success pathways to support this community improvement goal at the community level and the personal/household level.

Alleviating poverty and promoting prosperity is a complex generational problem involving many moving parts (see Figure 1), eTransX has developed a software application that manages these moving parts in a systemic approach for capturing and sharing actional information and supporting cross sector collaboration.

A Shared Community-Based Wellbeing Coordination System

To help people and communities reach their full potential eTransX has developed a cloud based integrated system that connects key stakeholders at both the community level and the personal household level to capture and share actionable information and facilitate cross sector collaboration. The diagrams in this section illustrate how the eTransX Wellbeing Care Community system can be deployed at the community level, the neighborhood level, or at a regional level.

Economic Mobility and Self-Sufficiency

eTransX’ Wellbeing Care Community (WCC) system provides a unique community-based person-centric, cross-sector data sharing solution that helps community-based anchor or backbone organizations scale community initiatives to improve health, social, and economic outcomes. WCC bridges silos by serving as a trusted community information exchange, coordinating the work of multiple organizations working across sectors “so that the right hand knows what the left hand is doing.” WCC results in improved outcomes for people and communities by using evidence-based best practices, reducing duplication of effort, and lowering operational costs.

WCC promotes economic mobility and self-sufficiency for individuals and families that are struggling to make ends meet. It builds upon the unique needs, dreams, and strengths of individuals to develop career and wealth-building pathways that includes addressing the loss of benefits as incomes rise (cliff effect.) WCC connects and engages mentors, coaches, and other personal support network members during the journey to empower personal success. It also supports eligibility and coordination of wraparound services for basic needs. This is the goal of our poverty alleviation initiatives.
